Poetry Competition Winner 2013

Run in the Rain , and as you do imagine the sun,
it will get you through.
When you’re through the cloud, hold my hand and we will run, to
the radiant rays of the golden sun.
A Circle of fire and of gasses, a giant golden ball, kicked far
across the universe, yet to him hardly far at all.
The sun a yellow diamond, balanced on a sheet of
black, surrounded by tiny crystals, a pumpkin as the giants snack.
But the sun is light in all of us , a warmth in every soul, and
without the sun, none of us would ever be truly whole.
